Passion Pit - I've got your number

As usual I should be contributing my little bit to better the world but I think I should be allowed to not give a shiny from time to time (to a lot of time). My immediate desire is to wallow in my post self-indulgence guilt somewhere that is out there but not cared about (hello there, internet!) but I can't tolerate being pathetic. Instead I will write vignettes about the memories that certain songs bring back. Here's to five minutes ago.

My sardine-can room faced south into the other halls of residences, so it was cool and dark most of the time; despite this the window still permitted a lightly fragrant spring breeze to drift lethargically into my room. The days of pure azure sky and young jade foliage, contrasted by pale flowers not unlike my new favourite dress... translated onto a piece of paper my first spring days away from home were a beautiful heady scene, but nonetheless I saw unsettling greys. I preferred to stay indoors.

I change shapes

Backlighting, ya' know? I'm still lazy with a lot of things.

Self-raising wholemeal flour

It is Wednesday, I am just under 9 5/6 days away from unemployment of the good kind and have decided shirred tops are stupid. Spilling a few rambles over the internet makes a welcome departure from the usual use I put the mentioned to; today my neglected "art"blog has rendered Facebook and Twitter-I-never-knew redundant for the purpose of being able to admire a beautifully solid paragraph of text for my efforts.

Does a full stop cut it for a blog title? Aesthetically, it's small, neat and perfectly symmetrical (screw you palindromes). While giving off the mild diffidence I prefer there's a hint at the 3am internet-fueled semi-consciousness that I'm still struggling a little to rid, or maybe a lack of imagination. A little less of that would make me a happy happy girl.

Still deciding on whether I'm having a good summer or not. Notably le September seems horrendously slow in approach.

Don't lean on me man

Snowing quite heavily on the way back to university.

Just some rage and three kinds of yes

What I'm wearing today

By now I'm in university studying Chemistry (started 21st September). It's a blast and a bitch at the same time.

... and here's something I started on and haven't returned to. Yet. No references but somehow it turned out looking like Kristen Stewart, blaah. Photoshop/tablet works on my new computer, but there's no way the oekaki romance is over. I would just miss watercolour on ShiPainter too much.

Try to rubidoux in the middle of the night!

i have a pretty long year ahead of me to play with because i didn't get into medical school the first time. what to do, hmmhmm? a lot of stuff to scan in and upload, but they're all minor because it's been absolute ages since i've put effort into anything artistic!

But we've been caught packing up the suitcase

Life and all, I've been posting the same crap on devTART and nobody ever visits here. I dunno why I bother

but it looks kinda pretty having everything on one page that isn't a "shiny fucking art community woowoo", like a glorified e-sketchbook or something all to myself

then again it's internet. Nothing for myself

Both are imaginings of other people

It's the smiling on the package

The little weeaboo in me had fun, it's a Bleach shinigami ohlaaaaaaaaaaaaaawd. Having the longass sleeves made this pretty easy by covering up everything...

I named her Harishin. Her eyes are squinty like Ichimaru Gin's, she's in 12th division and can synthesise/shoot glass out of thin air.

And that's when we'll explode

Right, so I just acquired OC 4.5 and it's marginally more sexy that its predecessor; if only my tablet didn't go mad every few seconds and ruining stuff by leaving trails all over the place. Some lazy 640x460 dawdling:
